Also any number divisible by 6 or 9 will also be divisible by 3 as well.
\n
Another interesting fact if the individual digits of a number added together are divisible by 9 or 3 then the number it's self is. take the number 243 2+4+3=9 so 243/9 = 27 and 27 2+7=9 so 27/9 =3 or the number 729 7+2+9= 18 which is(9*2) so 729/9=81 which is another 9 number 8+1=9 81/9=9
\n
It's kind of funny the way that all works out...
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkzqp2285","appParentAuthor":"amirthavigneshkg","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |

They have correlated divisibility factors that I still remember way back I was in grade 7. I learned it and still it fascinates me.
\n
A number is divisible by 3 if and only the sum of the digits are divisible by 3. Say for example the number 249. If you add the digits on it 2+4+9 = 15. Which is a secret method that the number is divisible by 3.
\n
For 6, a number is divisible by six if the sum of the digits are divisible by 3 and an even number. So 249 is not divisible by six because 2+4+9 = 15 is not an even number.
\n
For 9, a number is divisible by nine if the sum of the digits are divisible by 9.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkzqp2285","appParentAuthor":"amirthavigneshkg","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
