But the recipes vary from place to place I'll leave you a couple of my favorites.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>A smoothie loaded with vitamins is an invigorating way to start the day, if we take it as breakfast, or recharge batteries in the afternoon, if we choose to consume it at snack time. At first glance, it may seem that preparing a smoothie is something to sew and sing, because you only have to crush fruits with some type of liquid and chimp.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is true and is one of the great benefits of smoothies. But making the perfect smoothie, from a nutritional and technical point of view, requires a little more. If you want to obtain a delicious and balanced result, apply these simple tips and you will see what a difference. Your smoothies will not be the same again.</p>\n<p>How to make the perfect smoothie</p>\n<p>The preparation of a smoothie begins with the choice of fruits and liquids that will make it up. Finding the balance in terms of the quantities of each one is essential, in this way we will obtain a creamy smoothie and neither too liquid nor too thick.</p>\n<p>Two glasses of the chosen liquid are enough. This can be milk (cow or any other type: soy, almond, oats, coconut, etc), yogurt, fruit juice, coconut water, among others. It is important to add the liquid to the bowl of the blender first, before the fruit, so that the blades do not suffer or deteriorate.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Incorporating the fruit of our choice and shredding is the next step. How much amount? Well, the ideal is to start with three quarters of the glass that we have used for the liquid part (in volume). Depending on the fruit chosen, some contain more water than others, you will have to add more fruit or more liquid.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The banana is an excellent base for all smoothies. It brings creaminess and body, as well as a delicious flavor. Other fruits that work well are strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, mango, peaches, plums, nectarines, apples, pears and melons.</p>\n<p>Once the proportions of liquid and fruit are balanced, and the appropriate (or preferred) consistency is achieved, our smoothies will win a lot if we cheer them with a splash of lemon or grapefruit juice, a little honey, agave syrup, maple syrup and some ice. The latter, if we crush them with the rest of the ingredients, they will make it very refreshing.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The ice can be replaced by frozen fruit. It is a great idea to have fruit in the freezer handy, peeled, chopped and packed in individual bags (each variety), especially if your liking of smoothies is deep and you like to make them often. There are regular freezing fruits, like melon or strawberries, but since they are going to be crushed, absolutely nothing happens.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Once the basic guidelines are mastered, each one's creativity comes into play and it is necessary to incorporate differential flavors to the base recipes.
