How can we make wind energy?

Interestingly, man has been making use of the wind for power for hundreds of years before electricity was invented. In medieval times, they built windmills, which were buildings with big sails on them, that would rotate in the wind, which would basically cause an axel to turn, which would move a heavy round piece of stone. They'd put grain under that round piece of stone and it would roll over the grain, crushing it... the people then used that to make dough/bread. They are called windmills.

The same principal is used to make electricity. The wind moves the sails, which rotates an axel into a wind turbine, as Kutrulaji mentioned. The good thing is, we can now power our houses with wind energy. Have a look at this article about wind trees (https://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/green-tech/energy-production/wind-tree-arbre-a-vent-turbine.htm). I'd love to get one.
