If you are dying to talk with someone but your ego is your biggest enemy then what should you do?

Leave your ego at the door.

Perform a self audit on what is propping up that ego of yours and why do you even need it. Egoistic people are usually secretly self-loathing. Those that truly love themselves and are confident never needed ego in the first place.

Is the cost of talking to the person lower than keeping your ego? If not then ditch it.

No humans are special and we're all replaceable.
