To ensure the safety of devices these operations are 'locked' before sending devices to market . Removing these locks is called rooting. After rooting a user can also access these operations. In case of some companies warranty of devices is considered void after rooting because according to them whatever problem occurs to device after rooting must be handled by owner of device. So rooting is somewhat similar to illegal process.</p>\n<p>Rooting an android device is like giving someone superuser access .
