We just don't know it because of the relative anonymity of cryptos.
\n
We would be foolish to think that especially after the big run last year that government agencies are not involved in any of the current coins on the market.
\n
I am sure that the CIA probably pays some of their informants or other resources in crypto currency. The fact is, many government agencies are as active in things like the dark web as the actual \"criminals\"
\n
I know this sounds all conspiracy theoryish, but if you think about it, it only makes sense.
\n
Now if Governments openly start buying Bitcoin (which I think some of them have if I remember my headlines correctly) it could add some validation to the market. The market is already pretty stable. It stinks because we are not seeing the huge gains that people were hoping for, but things have been stable and that is definite plus.
\n
Government buy in could push the prices up a bit, but it also may bring about some fear that depending on how much they buy they could manipulate the market in the future with a big sell off.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fk576jdlx","appParentAuthor":"cryptos999","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
