The only difference is that you can decide to use resources credit or paying 3 steem to claim an account.</p><p>If you are using resources, then you must have a huge sp in your account when trying to claim as claiming an account always consume a lot of resources credit. But if you have enough s.p like 5,000sp, then you are free to go.</p><p>It is also much more faster than the original sign up page on Steemit.
