Sometimes the car is still within it's warranty and service plan and is a real bonus. This gives you peace of mind knowing you are covered for any eventualities that may occur.</p>\n<p>Take it for a test drive if possible as this will tell you a lot of information. Accelerate and brake a few times making sure it is working properly. Also check there is no shuddering at certain speeds. test all the electronics as they can be costly to fix.</p>\n<p>If you know someone in the traffic department do a check on it's history.
