I used to get sea sick but things have changed these days and I don't mind it.</p>\n<p>The modern ships have fins and ballast tanks that help with the rolling effect of the ship.They are all computerized and the aim is all about passenger comfort. Gone are the days of feeling sick for the first few days of a cruise.</p>\n<p>I think we should all experience of a cruise at some point because it is a holiday like no other. The ship is a floating hotel with all the amenities that you would expect plus more.</p>\n<p>The packages that you pay for are all inclusive and only vary on price depending on what cabin you choose. The all inclusive is for all your meals and soft drinks. If you require alcohol or tea and coffee they are extra.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><img src=\"https://ipfs.busy.org/ipfs/QmSfNX8WRDv2nJXo2QomqwcZYp3CAJ4SucVQYGJovGG3hV\"/></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>There are many activities on board with swimming pools,bowling alleys,cinema's,tennis courts and a casino. Every evening there are various shows that you need to book for but free of charge as well.</p>\n<p>These activities are great for when you are travelling between destinations. The cruise ship is a hotel that moves and will stop for excursions in various stop overs. The excursions are popular and normally fairly pricey. This is where they make up for the all inclusive possibly.</p>\n<p>You will need to watch your waistline as the food never ends. Breakfast is followed by morning tea with sandwiches. Lunch is hot on it's heels and the buffet stays open. For those that can squeeze in some more you are thrust into dinner and for those that haven't eaten enough there is a midnight feast. </p>\n<p>I can guarantee you that you will not go hungry and if you are like me will put some weight on as it is impossible not to. When I went on my cruise there was a burger bar and pizza oven operating 24 hours as well. The food is above average and recommend you dodge the buffet and use the restaurant with the waiters.</p>\n<p>Safety is paramount so expect to have the occasional drill where you are issued with life vests and shown which lifeboat is yours.Normally this will be fairly close to where your cabin is situated.</p>\n<p>If you are deciding whether a cruise is for you then I suggest looking at some destinations that you may have wanted to travel to.
