Can You Quickly Make Money With Steemit, Like Bernie Sanders Earning $343.09 Weekly Writing Questions & Comments?","appBody":"
Ignore all of the posts that you see earning $100 and up. The majority of these posts have been self voted and the use of promotional bots. Normally a post that has $100 on it you can bet that $90 or more has been spent on it.
\n
I have been here for around 15 months now and just coming up to 5000 SP in my account. I haven't had the funds to invest so it as been very hard and slow. Like anything it takes time and loads of commitment. I don't mind though as this is loads of fun.
\n
Where else can you engage with other users and earn. This is the trick though as it is social and you need to read loads and comment. Decent comments though and you will find some will reply and upvote your comments. The first 6 months you must see yourself as a pickpocket looking for any crumbs you can collect.
\n
Don't chase votes by hunting out the big accounts as most of them don'y upvote and upvote others in their circle. There are a number of good authors on here with some informative information. Find content you like and then see who they are following to get a good idea and you will find your comfort levels and like minded people.
\n
Don't rush and take your time to learn and understand. I am still learning, but know enough to understand most things. Once you understand how to grow you will be well on your way. The key is to be consistent in what you do and eventually you will break down any barriers you may come across.
\n
Truthfully the older users do watch what you do and will start supporting you the longer you are here. Remember we have had many users arrive and leave after they have made some money and that is not what others want to see. They want you to grow and be part of the community so you can add value at some point as well.
\n
To give you some time lines on how I grew so you don't have any ideas of vast riches straight away it is slow in the beginning. My first 15 sp took around 30 days. !80 SP took around 120 days. 1000 SP is around 8-9 months and then it gets easier. the last 6 months I have been growing much faster at around 500 SP per month. I would try and work out a growth plan after a couple of months so you can try different things as everyone works differently.
\n
I think it is fairly easier now because of some of the Dapps that are around today. Musing is one of them and Steemhunt is another. These have really helped me grow and just don't get caught up in here for too long. Steem is the main site and where you will get your following. This is where your account grows and people get to know you.
\n
Rhere are some Dapps like Esteem and Busy that you can use to post your posts and you may receive a supporting upvote from them. busy.org is slightly different as your vote you receive depends on the followers you have.
\n
Just take it slowly as there is a lot to learn and take in. It can be overwhelming in the beginning, but the main thing just have fun.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3awqagnw","appParentAuthor":"cdanderson","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
