One of my army friends worked for a photographer who did menu's and brochures for the take away industry.</p>\n<p>There are a lot of things that they cheat with and loads of computer doctoring happens. it takes days to get one photograph correct and is not straight forward.</p>\n<p>The ice cream would melt under the lights waiting for the shoot. It isn't ice cream but mashed potato. The photograph is then doctored some more adding color etc. Notice the photograph above no ice cream is melting.</p>\n<p>This is an art as you are creating food to look real even though it is not the real food. it takes years of practice developing the skills required.</p>\n<p>If you had to ask any food photographer they would much rather shoot a simple object.
