For instance if it was a space movie then with the technology and advancements to cinematic special effects it should be better today.</p>\n<p>This isn't always the case though and it is very difficult for a remake of a film to be better than the original. People are always comparing to the first one and normally a remake will fail.</p>\n<p>The older you are the more remakes you see and the younger generation are unaware so it makes no difference to them as they aren't comparing. Normally when a producer chooses a remake it is of a classic movie which most of us know about already.</p>\n<p>I think one needs to be very careful and can make a success of it as long as they better it in some way or another.
