Why does triangularly cut bread taste better than square bread?

The experts seem to agree that triangle cut bread tastes better than the square ones. Why?

The chefs think its because it creates the illusion that it's actually bigger than it is. They also think it has points for nostalgia because it reminds people of sailboat sandwiches.

For architects, it's all about the look and feel. For some reason, they believe the triangle shape is more superior both in terms of pyramids and bread.

And for mathematicians, its because once the bread is cut diagonally, it gets more crust-free surface, which is good because not a lot of people like the crust.

As for me, I'm with the mathematicians. The larger crust-free surface makes it taste better. And for some reason, the triangle cut makes the bread less soggy.
