There are no benefits to spamming on Musing.io.
\n
What these bot accounts don't realize is that Musing.io relies on manual curators to reward contributions to the platform. Thus, spammers and their bots are unlikely to be rewarded for their misdeeds. Granted, they could sometimes get away with their spammy acts and get the occasional upvote, but these instances are rare.
\n
Furthermore, once people in the community notice accounts that are constantly spamming the platform, someone is bound to report these accounts to the Musing.io curators, which means they will be placed in a watchlist of accounts not to upvote. Sure, they won't be blacklisted entirely, but the curators will be aware to watch out for them. So, if you weigh the costs and benefits of spamming in platform, it doesn't really pan out well. That's why, spammers are better off using their bots elsewhere, IMO.
\n
Hope this helps.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3qa4v2yw","appParentAuthor":"bitcast","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
