Many people don't really prepare for their interviews and eventually fail to get the job they desire. Even before we arrive at the interview location, we have homework that we must prepare. Here are nine homework that we must complete before coming to the interview.
\n
1. Learn the things about a company where you apply for work
\n
Find out about the reputation, competitors, culture, facilities, and the average salary your company offers.
\n
2. Understand your abilities, experience and qualifications
\n
You must be prepared with questions such as \"What's your biggest weakness?\" And \"Why do you want to work in our company?\"
\n
3. Questions for interviewers
\n
Prepare questions for the interviewer so that you look enthusiastic and interested in the company.
\n
4. The clothes that you will wear
\n
Choose clothes that fit the culture of the company. Not all offices require employees to dress formally like a blazer or pencil skirt. Try to wear neutral colored clothes for your interview and avoid striking colors like orange, yellow or pink.
\n
5. Don't be arrogant, but also don't look hopeless
\n
Prepare answers that don't seem arrogant. You really have to be able to show your abilities but be careful in choosing your words. And vice versa, don't let you look desperate.
\n
6. Clean your social media
\n
There are several HRDs who are tasked with checking your social media to assess your background. So make sure your social media is clean of posts or comments that you don't want to show to your prospective boss
\n
Besides that, you must also prepare the following for your interview.
\n
7. documents
\n
Prepare documents that may be requested when you come for a job interview even though you have sent all your documents beforehand. Reprint CV, certificates, diplomas, reference letters, and your passport.
\n
8. Make sure you know the location of interview
\n
Make sure you know the location of your interview and how to get to that location. Calculate how long it will take to go to the interview location. This will minimize the possibility that you will arrive late because you are stray or stuck in traffic. You also need to know who will interview you, for example whether you will be interviewed by HRD, user, or even the head of the company.
\n
9.Health
\n
Well, this is the most important thing for you to prepare. Do not let you suddenly fall ill on the day you were interviewed. Increase your intake of vitamins and don't stay up late before your interview.
\n
While preparing the things above, don't forget to be mentally prepared too. May be useful. Thanks.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3ujga2cq","appParentAuthor":"duchessrita","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |

There are things that they would look at from your resume to double check if what you have stated is honestly written in the resume and not made up.
\n
1. Attire and grooming
\n
Prepare your attire and wear something that proper enough for the interview. It will surely let your future employers have this first impression from the attire you wear. Have a proper hair cut and make sure that at least you look pleasant enough for an interview. Get another person to have a view and check if there is anything else that needs to be improved.
\n
2. Resume and certificates preparation
\n
Prepare and print a set of your resume and certificates for your interview in case the employer did not print one, usually they would be printing one set too. Just in case. Look at your resume carefully and think of your strengths and what you can do to contribute for the company. The company would be looking for these traits in a person. The main question that companies would want to ask is that, how can this employee be able to add value to the job.
\n
3. Knowledge of the job that is required
\n
Have to be really know what the job is about as the employer would want to know if you could do the job that is advertised. The first think definitely they would ask you to do is to introduce yourself and it would usually be a five minute introduction that would be required. Prepare for a script and just look through it a day or two before the interview and make sure you need to hit your main strength and use that as your weapon of choice to make your employers interested in hiring you. If employers want to hire an employee, they would want to see if the employee is able to do the job well.
\n
There are some more other things that employers are looking for before they hire an employee and google can give some reference but you need to do extra research and ask those who have gone for interview for some tips.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3ujga2cq","appParentAuthor":"duchessrita","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
