What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

The unicorn. One of my most beloved films as a kid is The Last Unicorn. I remember it being a sad and poignant film, that I fell in love with unicorns, right away. So, if there was one mythical creature that I wanted to exist, it would be the unicorn. Also, given the chaos in today's world, why not have a creature that is the symbol of purity and grace, and whose horn could heal sickness, exist so, it could heal the world, even a bit.

What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

Pegasus. A mythical horse with wings. For thousands of years, the horse had been men's best friend in exploration. Without the horse, ancient civilisation would not be possible. Horses brought men further to the unknowns and new places were discovered. Horses were also instrumental in ancient wars, where stallions or calvaries are often the key to winning battles.

There are many animals in the world. But why are horses the only one chosen by men for 'travelling'? That is because horse is one of the most tameable animal and has a strong body and legs, with high endurance and speed.

And now, imagine a horse with wings. Wow! A horse that actually fly. Forget flying cars. A pegasus is all you need. It will be the only trusted personal mobility device you will ever need.

What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

1. Dragon

Naga is one of the popular mythical creatures that are often featured in folklore, fantasy films, or fiction novels. The creature is described as a large figure, has wings - some are without wings - and can fire. Usually in fiction, dragons are classified into two types, good and evil.

Evil dragons attack humans and cause damage, while good ones become 'protectors' and human companions.

2. Dwarf (Hobbits)

Recent research on the origins of humans finds a new theory which says that in Indonesia, human fossils are known as Hobbits. Hobbits are humans with larger legs and shorter bodies popularized in the 'Lord of the Ring' fantasy film.

3. Sea Monsters (Kraken)

Sea monsters with dozens of tentacles live on the ocean floor. Kraken is a mystical creature popular in the story of Hercules, Son of Zeus. Kraken is described as an octopus-like sea creature with a head that looks more like a monstrous monster and likes to prey on ships sailing in its territory, Greenland Sea.

The Kraken is also told as a sea monster that has a very long life, it can even reach thousands of years.

4. Giant Wolf (Direwolf)

The 'giant' wolf which is owned by the Stark family in the Game of Thrones movie, is not a mere fictional animal. Direwolf is a type of wolf that lives in North America and belongs to the Canis gene. This type is categorized as a very frightening animal.

5. Water and Land Monsters (Scylla and Charybdis)

Scylla and Charybdis were two monsters who lived in a narrow sea between Italy and Sicily. Legend says Odysseus had sailed across the Strait of Messina, and faced the two mystical creatures on the shore of the bay. Scylla is a monster that prey on its enemies on land, while Charybdis makes a whirlpool in the sea to sink the ship.
