The early church \"committed themselves to the missionaries' instructing and to association, to the eating and to supplication\" (Acts 2:42). We ought to pursue that case of dedication—and to similar things. In those days, they had no assigned church building, however \"consistently they kept on getting together in the sanctuary courts. They fellowshipped in their homes and ate together with happy and earnest hearts\" (Acts 2:46). Wherever the gathering happens, devotees blossom with association with different adherents and the educating of God's Word.

Church participation isn't only a \"decent proposal\"; it is God's will for adherents. Jews 10:25 says we ought \"not [be] surrendering getting together, as some are in the propensity for doing, however reassuring each other—and simply more as you see the Day drawing closer.\" Even in the early church, some were falling into the negative behavior pattern of not meeting with different adherents. The creator of Hebrews says that is not the best approach. We require the consolation that congregation participation manages. Also, the methodology of the final days should provoke us to be much more committed to going to chapel.

Church is where adherents can love each other (1 John 4:12), support each other (Hebrews 3:13), \"goad\" each other to love and benevolent acts (Hebrews 10:24), serve each other (Galatians 5:13), educate each other (Romans 15:14), respect each other (Romans 12:10), and be thoughtful and sympathetic to each other (Ephesians 4:32).

At the point when a man confides in Jesus Christ for salvation, he or she is made an individual from the collection of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:27). For a congregation body to work appropriately, the majority of its \"body parts\" should be available and working (1 Corinthians 12:14– 20). It's insufficient to simply go to a congregation; we ought to be associated with some kind of service to other people, utilizing the otherworldly blessings God has given us (Ephesians 4:11– 13). An adherent will never achieve full profound development without having that outlet for his endowments, and we as a whole need the help and support of different devotees (1 Corinthians 12:21– 26).

Hence and the sky is the limit from there, chapel participation, interest, and partnership ought to be general parts of an adherent's life. Week by week church participation is in no sense \"required\" for adherents, yet somebody who has a place with Christ ought to want to revere God, get His Word, and partnership with different devotees.

Jesus is the Cornerstone of the Church (1 Peter 2:6), and we are \"like living stones . . . being incorporated with an otherworldly house to be a blessed organization, offering profound penances satisfactory to God through Jesus Christ\" (1 Peter 2:5). As the building materials of God's \"otherworldly house,\" we normally have an association with each other, and that association is apparent each time the Church \"goes to chapel.\"
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkh7rwh85","appParentAuthor":"elejo","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

json_metadata"{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Religion"],"appCategory":"Religion","appTitle":"Is it compulsory for christians to attend church?","appBody":"
I think I can answer this question. The truth is that christianity is not a religion and one of the fundamentals about religion is that it involves always, a set of rituals that have to be done every time. Christianity doesn't put pressure on anyone. Christianity is actually living out the life of God. It is not a set of rules like thou shall not, taste not, handle not, touch not, no it is simply exemplifying the nature of God.

There are certain things that are obtained from reading God's word and from the breath of scriptures you can know the mind of God on a particular issue..

The bible says in the book of hebrews 10:25 that we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves.

The writer of Hebrews was giving an admonition and not necessarily a commandment and there are several reasons why christians are admonished to go to church.

From Ecclesiastics chapter 4 verses 9 and 10 tells us about the importance of working together and the Bible said that those that are strong should bear the scruples of the weak.

The bible never described Christianity as a life lived in isolation. It is called the body of Christ for a reason. Every christian makes up the body. So the bible never divided christians into those go to church and those who don't go to church. There is a reason for the brethren to congregate.

If you look at Paul's life, you see that in every city that he entered, the first thing he did was look for the brethren and if there were no christians there, he would go about converting them. When he had converted them, he would gather them together and then form a church. This should tell you the important of believers christians going to church.

The book of first corinthian chapter 12 talks about every believer having spiritual gifts. The spiritual gifts were not given just for our own benefit alone but so that we could strengthen one another using our gifts to edify one another.

Also if you go to the bible, especially the new testament, you'd find 'one another', 'one another', confessing to one another, praying for one another. 1st thessalonians 5, James 5:16. This connotes the importance of believers gathering together.

Lastly another reason why believers must congregate is so they can be accountable. It's the reason why God has placed a spiritual leader over a group of believers. The spiritual leader helps the individual christian grow and manifest as a son of God.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkh7rwh85","appParentAuthor":"elejo","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
