<p>In a reality we live in, English is the only language that matters. It's the most spoken language globally &amp; allows you to connect to pretty much any business you can imagine</p>
<p>If you keep in mind how majority of STEEM users is using it to communicate, then by all means the answer is YES!</p>
<p>English has the potential to free you from the slave-system, you just need to understand how to use it. Everyone should aim to become better in it as there is so much opportunities worldwide (especially in the upcoming decentralized era) where English will be your ticket to financial freedom.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Listen, doesn't matter how good you are at something, if you don't know how to show it to broader audiences it won't really matter. You'll probably end up in the system working from 9-5 while your extremely developed talent will go unnoticed.</p>
<p>On the other side, if you are not such an expert at something but have a great way of sharing it with the world (by using the language the world is using), then even though you might not be expert you have a greater chance of success (it is how it is).</p>
<p>Especially if you are coming from a smaller country like me for example (Croatia)... Doesn't matter how pride you are about your language (maybe you think it's the only one that matters), what matters is (at least in business world), what majority thinks that matters</p>
