Any regrets investing in Steem?

<p>Korbit already delisted STEEM and also DASH, XMR, REP and ZEC in May 2018. That's OLD NEWS. Out of those, Dash, Monero and ZCash have much larger market caps than STEEM. Any regrets investing in Steem?

<p>Why bother? anyone who starts a sentence with "you should not place assets into steem" is likely close minded to a degree, and has a bit of nerve saying such a thing on the Steem Blockchain. </p><p>We know it's rubbish. You cannot convince everyone anonsteve. I'm guessing you also found that as distasteful as myself. </p>

The rewards are called “Proof-of-Brain” which is supposed to be pay people for brain work. The problem is that you are being paid in SMTs and not currency.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The funny thing about STEEM is that it has some value right now. The STEEM tokens achieved a Coin Price of $1.34 on July 15, 2018, which is great for a cryptocurrency.</p>\n<p>That Coin Price led to a Market Cap of $356.50 million and a 24-hour Market Volume of $1.432 million on 15 July 2018. Those prices are also great, although there is no guarantee they will last.</p>\n<p>There was a circulating supply of roughly 266.624 million STEEM and a Total Supply of 283.598 million STEEM on July 15, 2018. This means that STEEM is popular.</p>\n<p>My advice for writers getting paid in STEEM is sell it now while it is worth something. If a better solution particularly one that can be converted into Ethereum comes along, STEEM is toast.</p>\n<p>Cryptocurrency investors and speculators should stay away from STEEM because it can collapse at any minute. <p>Ethereum would be crushed under the kind of transaction volume Steem is handling right now. That's because Ethereum hasn't even begun to transition into Proof-of-Stake. An Ethereum-based social media would have a snowballs chance in hell to gain any traction. The only viable competition to Steem might be based on EOS. There is a lot of development taking place on Steem right now and that's the most relevant metric when assessing future potential. </p>

But after that we all knows the market turns bearish and that bearish market is still in continuation.</p>\n<p>Personally speaking,<strong> I have no regrets</strong>, the reason is that I have certain targets for 2020 and in fact I have a plan to build my SP to 10000 in the year 2019 and in 2020 what ever I will earn beyond 10000 SP, I will power down and withdraw, so whatever I have invested or will invest in 2019, will be in line with the target for 2020. I hope I will be able to achieve break even at least.
