I guess you can have a picnic but you have to check first if you are allowed to step on the grass. This is prohibited in many parks. But you can still sit on a bench and have a picnic. </p>\n<p>Some countries allow citizens to have picnic in parks, you can step on a grass, that's not a problem. Of course you have to keep the place clean and don't leave trash in the park. </p>\n<p>Dutch people often nave picnic on their private boat while navigation through the canals. I've seen many in Amsterdam. i find that a bit odd, but they seem to like it. </p>\n<p>If you ask me, I prefer a quiet park or place, doesn't have to be a public park.
