Despite the fact that my president may seem like an absolute idiot sometimes, I know for a fact that I'd probably be worse if I was in his shoes because first things first, I don't know the first thing about leading a nation, much less how to do it better than someone who's actually done it before.

Well my president is President Muhammadu Buhari and despite the fact that I don't agree with a lot of things that he's done, I don't know the driving force behind any of the decisions that he's made, I don't know the circumstances that surrounded why he says what he says and why he does what he does so I can't know for sure that I'd do a better job than he would.

Moreover, he has a reasonable cabinet and a professor as his vice president so I'd like to think that he actually has good council around him and as such I think he's probably been doing a good job given the state the country was in when he entered power. As long as you aren't aware of all the circumstances and the full story behind why he does whatever he does then I don't think anyone has a right to say that they could lead better than he does.

I can't vouch for anybody but I can vouch for myself and say that there's no way I'd do a better job than him. He has the experience and far better council than I could ever have at this point in time. It easy to look from a distance and assume that you'll do a better job, but if you put us in the president's shoes, we probably won't do any better or worse.

I hope this helps.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkxpsr3sq","appParentAuthor":"alaisguineasis","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
