If you're in a large and open space then I'm pretty sure an earthquake wouldn't cause you that much damage seeing as no buildings are going to collapse on your head, but being stock without shelter in a large open space during a tropical storm is essentially a death wish.</p><p>Now if you're in a highly populated area with a couple of tall buildings then I think I'd prefer a tropical storm to an earthquake because unless these buildings have been specially designed to withstand earthquakes then they're probably going to come tumbling down on your head.</p><p>Mother nature is deadly when she wants to be but for me the situation and area that I find myself is what determines which of these two I'd prefer to deal with at a particular time as well as which is worse.</p><p>I hope this helps.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3satkn7q","appParentAuthor":"josephace135","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
