She said her school was famed for some of the supernatural things that happened in it, but what happened that day scared the shit out of her till this very day.

It was a simple night like any other and all the students where asleep when they started hearing a loud thud like as if somebody was striking something with a sledgehammer. She thought she was the only one that was hearing it but before she knew it one of the girls got up and woke everyone else up.

She'd been hearing it too, and she wanted people to follow her to go and find out what was the source of the sound. Just when they were about to step out, they heard a baby's piercing cry ring through the air, after which they heard what sounded like a woman with a very raspy voice tell someone to bring the baby to her.

The baby was still crying, all the while no one noticed that the loud thud had stopped, they were all focused on the baby's voice, with a bone crushing sound, the this started again and as it started the baby stopped crying instantly. Everyone knew what had happened, the baby had been crushed.

The school was located in Ibadan which is notorious for the number of people who perform child sacrifices and since the school was located on a large expanse of land which was basically boardered by a forest and the hostel was located close to the fence, they could hear some of the things that were happening across the fence.

Not long after that, the woman started speaking in Yoruba but my friend didn't understand, then they heard another baby crying again and the same thing repeated itself, but this time after the first strike, the baby didn't die, its cry became faint but by the second strike it was over.

My friend told me that after that night, she called her mom and she left the school that week.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fkjyklvd5","appParentAuthor":"caroweyrey","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
