Well unfortunately 5G network cannot be enabled on every phone. Your phone has to have the hardware and software capability of supporting 5G if not then it's impossible to activate it. I mean you can't ask a Toyota Camry to go as fast as a Chevrolet Camaro can you??

Secondly, if your network provider doesn't support 5G or your SIM card isn't a 5G enabled SIM card then you either need to change your Network provider or SIM card or both.

One solution to this would be to purchase a 5G WiFi device or modem then use it with your current device. You'll be sure to get 5G speeds on that device.

As far as 5G phones go, there aren't really alot of them on the market and this is particularly because most network providers max out at 4G. The good news is that most 2018 flagship phones today actually have the hardware available for 5G connectivity and as soon as network providers start serving 5G network connectivity, the software of these phones will probably be upgraded to support it.
