And people go to school to specialise in something and become one trick pony. I don't know about other place but here the pony most time doesn't learn or was not taught the trick well.</p><p>Most people feel school is a waste of time because they are trained to work in a specific industry. In most places now, jobs have become more difficult to get generally and an half baked specialist in something makes it harder.</p><p>To stop feeling this way, one has to understand school is not necessary an end but a means to an end. I believe other forms of education like self education becomes easier with formal education (school).</p><p> Education and learning does not end with school. Most time school education are outdated and not practical, but it can give a foundation to build something tangible on. It is never a total waste of time.
