Truly some people cheat for no reason and others cheat because of things like better sex, lack of attention, distance, money and so on and so forth but sex isn't the main reason why people cheat.</p><p>Most people who cheat in relationships usually want to eat their cake and have it, just because they're dating one person doesn't mean that they should deny themselves the pleasures of the single life, but at the same time they want to be able to come back to something when they're done. </p><p>I have a friend who's a chronic cheat, he literally can't stay with one girl for more than a couple of months without cheating, but I can assure you that he loves his girlfriends deeply, but he just can't help but chase other girls when the opportunity presents itself. For him it's not the sex that motivates him, it's the thrill of chasing and making girls fall for him that he can't get enough of. I've literally seen him woo a girl for weeks and once she confessed that she'd fallen for him he lost interest.</p><p>That's a perfect example of a non-sex based reason why people cheat on their partners. In my experience being committed to a person won't make stop the thoughts of cheating from entering your mind.
