For the complete answer please read till the end.
\n
The pictures are stored using integration of IPFS protocol to the blockchain. This means that the pictures themselves are not on the blockchain but they are nevertheless equally accessible.
\n
What I am trying to say is that the pictures may be close to 'immortalized' but not on the Steem blockchain. On the other hand the text is all on the blockchain and pretty much immutable, i.e. 'immortalized'.
\n
So there is workaround to this problem - You can convert your image to text and then store it on the blockchain. When you want to retrieve it later, then you can simply reconstruct the text back to the image data.
\n
For this you can convert the image to Base64 (A scheme by which you can convert data into text). Then you can put this text in the post and publish it to make it immutable.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pk8jewdd5","appParentAuthor":"ucukertz","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
