No will not be any reason to believ that we will not screw up again, and this time in a planet that is utterly desserted and offering serious challenges for survival, totally dependent on technology to allow us to live. </p>\n<p>I think that humans need to learn some lesson before they aspire to become an intergalactic empire. It would be as irresponsible as parents lending a teenager their car becasue s/he has wrecked his/hers.</p>\n<p>Judging by the current state of earthly affairs, it would easier for a wreckless teenager to take good care of his/her parents' car than for humanity as a whole to avoid total destruction of our planet or grow enough as to colonize successfully and peacefully another one.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3arcgysq","appParentAuthor":"bala41288","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
