Overall health and metabolic rate of the child are factors. I would think weight fluctuations in a growing child are normal due to the nature of how much is changing in our bodies when we are young, but serious weight loss should be addressed with a doctor.&nbsp;</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pka7ted75","appParentAuthor":"ifunanyasuberu","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"

Is it wrong for a baby to loose weight?
<p>Well it actually depends on the health of the baby at that moment - some babies are actually obese and need to really shed off the weight..so in my own opinion i think that a baby can rightly loose weight except if the weight loss was due to a medical condition (e.g. digestive problems)babies are usually expected to gain weight, but some babies gain weight so fast and it makes them become obese.</p>
