You just need to play it smart</p><p>Just go to any table where you have a 50-50 chance, place a low value chip ($5) above a high value chip ($1000), angling it such that the dealer can only see the low value chip.</p><p>If you lose, snatch both chips and pretend to leave the table in anger. The dealer would probably hold you back and make you surrender your chips, which in this case, he only saw the $5 chip. No big deal for you.</p><p>If you win, push the low value chip off and reveal the high value chip underneath. Now is the the time to thump your chest and crow with joy!! Whether it be blackjack, Texas holdem, craps, ect.</p>\n<p>Most of these games have a house edge, except holdem, and there are fundamental aspects that must not only be well understood, but also heavily studied and practiced. </p>\n<p>I'm a Holdem player myself, and not one that's ever made a successful living at it, but I've read a crazy amount of books relevant to the game, and I feel I have a well rounded conceptual understanding of virtually every aspect of holdem. For this particular game, psychology plays a huge role in your success rate.
