json_metadata"{"app":"musing/1.1","appTags":["life","people","human"],"appCategory":"life","appTitle":"Why do people sometimes punish themselves for mistakes they made?","appBody":"<p><strong>Making mistakes in general can hunt a person for the rest of their life especially if the mistake involves the type that took a person's life as a result of carelessness on the part of the people that made this mistake, </strong>it is not as if these people choose to torture themselves after they have made this mortal mistake <em><strong>it is because they are human beings and the process conscience which makes them feel guilty by default when they are done something wrong so when a person makes mistake and the mistake is very costly the ability for them to feel bad isnt as if it is of their own choosing</strong></em> but sometimes self willed to feel empathy, pity towards a certain situation is the reason why it seems people always torture themselves after they have made a mistake.</p>\n<p><strong>The human mind has been built this way, constructed and designed and that's why were different from other mammals</strong> and because conscience was embedded into a person it makes them understand the principle of right and wrong and makes them feel guilty because naturally they are inclined to feel a sense of morality and also feel bad especially when they have hurt someone do their actions.</p>\n<p><strong>Mistakes hurt people the more expecially when the end product of that mistake brings regret, pain and agony to them sometimes it is as a result of the memories of these mistakes and how we chose to live with them that makes them feel bad</strong> that is why when somebody has just killed the person maybe by accidentally drunk driving they are never the same for the rest of their life especially if they haven't killed someone before so this isn't actually torturing or punishing them self it is humanity in them that seems to be manifesting itself and that feeling is involuntary which means that they cannot control it or help feeling that way</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3jruefsw","appParentAuthor":"ijoel","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}"
