| json_metadata | "{"app":"musing/1.1","appTags":["life","love"],"appCategory":"life","appTitle":"What is your perspective on polygamy?","appBody":"<p><strong>Polygamous family goes against the concept of family management and planning</strong> what I'm trying to say is that in polygamous family there are more children because the main priority of a person who goes into polygamy is because of the variety of sex that is involved and nothing more and because this seems to be the only priority so many children without planning for their care and the population of the nation making it difficult for the economy of the country to thrive, so their is more better rate and a reduced death rate and there will be poverty <strong>so I think polygamy is backward and doesn't really support a good family life</strong></p>\n<p><strong>I think polygamy negates the concept of nuclear family which is rampant and allows for better handling of family</strong> when it comes to marriage although polygamy isn't really popular these days anymore unless among some islamic folks however I do think that polygamy is the reason why some children raised in polygamous homes do not get proper education or proper attention from their parents , because there's always constant rivalry a polygamous family hardly have enough money to send their children to schools instead they channel this morning to feed them and as a result of numerous priorities dedication of children from polygamous family are being ignored.</p>\n<p><strong>Polygamy is caused by illiteracy and ignorance </strong>so many people who went into polygamy were either ignorant or uneducated, it is more of a cultural or societal misconception some people see it as a way to display wealth or affluence but at the end it is always the children who are raised in a polygamous family that suffers the consequences because they're not often matured well and sometimes they are deprived of the love of a father or mother because of the rivalry and problems that emanates from a polygamous home. <strong>So in general I think polygamy is backward and archaic and it is as a result of a redundant custom that should be abolished</strong></p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"p3yhdursw","appParentAuthor":"ijoel","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
