And some people in control don't want too many people owning too many tools, because they see it as a treath.</p>\n<p>The thing is, that money is a very powerful tool, which can accumulate more wealth, and with that, more influence and power. Money is not about money, money is about power.</p>\n<p>So no, not money is the root of all evil, but people's hunger for more power is.</p>\n<p>And, since we're on the topic anyway, why do we need power? Well, for that, just take a look at our closest relatives, chimps. Or in fact, nearly all animals. If I am willing to ignore my core beliefs just to make a little extra money, that is not edifying for my soul.</p>\n<p>The drive to be wealthy and to acquire wealth leads to many poor decision and also to the eventual downfall of many people.</p>\n<p>Like I said, I really think the heart of the saying is greed, but money is something tangible that is the best example of greed.</p>\n<p>That is why people say \"money is the root of all evil\" in my opinion.</p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkfenetdx","appParentAuthor":"ireakari","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
