He is so fearful and lacks the confidence in carrying out some things by himself and no matter how many times I tell him, he always try to cover it up by saying two heads are better than one. My biggest problem with this issue is, because of his fear of making mistakes, he fails to know so many basic things he is supposed to know. He is missing so much because of his fear.</p><p>Just the other day for example, he had to deposit an application for studies online and he had to call me through out that day to do it. I was very busy so couldn't help him that day but I tried directing him on how to go about it and to another person who worked with applications like his to help him. But he didn't do that, he only waited 2 days later when I was free so that I could go with him. His fear of making mistakes was what stopped him from depositing his application 2days before.</p><p>Like I always say it, whether we like it or not, there are somethings we will only learn by failing. I for example learned a lot of things I now know to my finger tips by failing. If you are so afraid to fail or make mistakes then you are not ready to succeed yet. One must learn to recognize how to use it and how to control it for the betterment of one's self. There are lots of burdens that could spring up from fear of committing errors. Here are some of the following:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>The possibility of never being able to finish a task on time. </strong>There are times that when a task needs to be done in a fast manner because of a deadline or it is urgent. If one has a constant fear of failure, he/she tends to make the project a perfect one. That means, taking time to set unrealistic goals and expectations because of the fear of failure. </li>\n <li><strong>The possibility of not trying new ways and using other techniques to accomplish a project.</strong> If you have a constant fear of failure, you will have a hard time to go out of your way and try new things and you do not want to go out of your comfortable zone not knowing that the new technique might be helpful in accomplishing a better result.</li>\n <li><strong>The possibility of being frustrated when unexpected events occur.</strong> For example, you are in the middle of accomplishing a project but an unexpected event happen that caused the delay of accomplishing the task for the project. You will be frustrated because you think that the project should be perfect and you should do it your way. When problems arise, due to fear of failure, one has the probability of being frustrated to solve every problem to avoid failure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>There are lots of burden that comes with fear of failure.
