Once a content is published it will remain there for eternity.
\n
The most anyone can do is to request a DMCA claim (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) for pressure the website owner to remove the content. It doesn't really remove the content from the blockchain but it will \"hide\" the content from their front-end.
\n
Take for example an incident that happened 2 years ago in which an outside user submitted a copyright infrigement claim: https://github.com/steemit/condenser/issues/525 claiming that a user named @carlidos was copying their contents and is publishing it to Steem.
\n
Steemit.com eventually responded to the claim and removed the content from their front end: https://steemit.com/motivation/@carlidos/the-power-that-moves-the-world
\n

\n
However if you look at the post in any Steem Block Explorer or even other front ends like Busy.org, you'll still see the content that was somewhat deleted from Steemit.
\n
https://busy.org/motivation/@carlidos/the-power-that-moves-the-world
\n

","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fksgdv6aq","appParentAuthor":"bsfmalaysia","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
