As the name of the account suggests, the purpose of the account is to delegate (support) these so called apps and will likely continue to do so for years.</p>\n<p>I do however see Ned taking out some Steem from the <strong>@steemit</strong> account which holds over <strong>double the SP</strong> than the @misterdelegation account, which unsurprisingly has been in powerdown for some time now and have been transferring liquid Steem to exchanges via other Steem accounts.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmNYDHY8hw9o7DWbKKueA8rVcYuzMXmyd53dDBDxUwKJom/image.png\" /></p>\n<p>Now no one knows for sure why he is transferring such huge amount of liquid Steem to exchanges but if he indeed is cashing out then, while the price of Steem will likely take a hit, I expect it to only last for a short while.</p>\n<p>The beauty about Steem is that it can survive without Ned. Sure the Steemit Inc team is the major player whose doing the developments of the Steem blockchain but there are many teams out there who is willing to replace them if only given the opportunity. </p>\n<p>With his Steem on an exchange (<em>assuming he was cashing out</em>), then that <strong>means more liquidity</strong> in the market to which I think is really needed this year if Steem plans to go mainstream. There must be a sufficient amount of Supply to cater people's Demand and his 1 million Steem will do wonders in the market in the long run.
