We are now subconsciously too dependent on technology. Without it our normal lives would be disrupted.

Case in point, Me. Truth be told I don't know how to cook rice in a manual way. I rely on rice cooker to do that for me. In the instance that electricity is out, I'll probably just skip eating or go outside to it. I am that reliant on technology.

So at what part did it made me lazy on my example above? It's the part of waiting. After putting in the water and turning on the rice cooker, you are done! You could just sit back relax and wait for it to finish cooking. Now compare that to the manual way, one needs to constantly check how strong the fire is and estimate if it's now cooked.

Probably a bad example but the point is that you can relax now and let technology do this simple things for you, giving us a lot of FREE time on our hands making it look like we are not doing something.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkj7zg88x","appParentAuthor":"gungunkrishu","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
