What do someone need to have a healthy life?

A healthy life is very important for a number of reasons. By healthy life, I assume you mean eating right, exercising regularly and avoiding anything harmful to the body. So while most people would rather eat whatever they want and lay at home all day, there are advantages that a healthy life has over those.

1) weight control: exercising and eating right will help you stay fit always. They are the two surest ways to avoid becoming overweight. Some might say there's nothing wrong with adding weight but the truth is that the adding excess weight makes you more likely to have depression, obesity, heart diseases, strokes, diabetes, etc. While staying fit reduces your chances of them.

2)helps fight diseases: by living a healthy life, you severely cut down your chances of getting most diseases. Regular exercise keeps the body's metabolism working at its best and a healthy diet will boost your immune system. Then this coupled with avoiding things like alcohol, smoking and drug abuse will keep you from getting diseases associated with them. A healthy life will reduce your chances of getting diseases like lung cancer, or developing liver problems, arthritis, heart diseases (as I said earlier) and so many more

3) it boosts energy: regular exercise and a healthy diet will keep you fully energised through out your day. The excercise itself will boost your stamina and combining this with eating the right foods will put you in such a position that you can go an entire day without actually getting tired

4) lifespan: combining all the factors I mentioned earlier, a healthy life will make sure you live longer. And not only will longer than most who didn't take better care of their bodies, you will also be stronger and better when they are frail and old.
