| json_metadata | "{"app":"Musing","appTags":["Christianity","Dichotomy"],"appCategory":"Christianity","appTitle":"Why Do Some Christians Claim the Old Testament is Anachronistic When Jesus, the Creator of Christianity Said \" I did Not Come To Destroy The Old Testament , But to Make It Happen\"?","appBody":"<p>Wow, this is a very interesting question.</p>\n<p>Well alot of believers take scripture out of context that's the problem.</p>\n<p>We must learn to rightly divide the word of God and understand he difference between the old testament and new testaments.</p>\n<p>The believer is not under the old testament but under the new testament.</p>\n<p>Jesus Christ came to fulfill the requirements of the law and remove it so that he can bring grace which is the new testament.</p>\n<p>This is the scripture that Jesus spoke this words;</p>\n<p>Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.</p>\n<p>When you studied this scripture carefully take note of the choice of words,it's simple English, Jesus said I do not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it and until the law is fulfill it can't be removed but once it's has been fulfilled then it can be removed.</p>\n<p>After Jesus fulfilled the law on the Cross he removed it on the way ,so God does not relate to us based on the Mosaic law but based on Christ and his finished works,see what the Bible says;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This scripture speaks of the the removing of law</p>\n<p>Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkhkuey9x","appParentAuthor":"giftedminds","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
