<p>In my opinion, questions should not be upvoted unless they are truly unique and exceptional. There is so much spam of questions that can be answered by simply entering the question into Google, but people posts them here mostly not because they are actually looking for an answer, but because they are hoping for an upvote. This harms the platform. </p><p>For answers, plagiarism should be checked automatically - not sure if that is done already.</p><p>Also, I have the impression that long answers are preferred by curators over short on-the-point answers which would be more helpful in many cases. This leads to some long gibberish. </p>
