Hysterectomy is actually the most common treatment, but there are other options that are possible for people who wish to get pregnant later in life, such as <strong>myomectomy </strong>- that is surgically removing the fibroids without damaging the uterus. This procedure can leave the woman able to get pregnant even after treatment, but unfortunately it's not possible for everyone.
