Of course, your definitions of travel may be different from mine, I particularly like movies where the person discovers a landscape, reflects on itself, through a walk for example, without necessarily leaving his country.
\n
Here are some films that made me travel:
\n
Into the Wild, a particularly famous movie where a young graduate decides to leave everything to go live alone in Alaska, in the wild. I really liked it, even if it's not my favorite.
\n
Wild, an American film based on a true story where the heroine decides to rebuild herself and forget her tragic past by walking the 1,700 km Pacific Crest Trail. In addition to the beautiful wild landscapes of the American West, this film offers an interesting reflection on surpassing oneself and personal development. A trip not to be missed!
\n
The Way, another film on the theme of hiking, but also travel. This time on the way to Compostela or an American learns the death of his son he never understood. He then embarks on the pilgrimage and meets many people with each a different personality.
\n
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, my favorite movie on the trip. Played by Ben Stiller and very original, the first part of the film may seem boring but takes us very quickly to adventure and lets us escape into beautiful landscapes. It's funny, touching and very well done.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pkzgzzxkw","appParentAuthor":"better-life-tips","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
