Steemit is a very good place where people like us can share their contents on the platform and have the opportunity to earn money with it,opening of steemit account in most cases do not take long before the account is approved and that is because regsitrations are manually verififed before they approve the steemit account By default there is fifteen(15) steempower delegeated to a new steemit account by steem,this little steempower is delegated to a new account so that the new steemit account can communicate on the blockchain and also have the opportunity go give upvotes on the steemit platform,when the new account starts to make money then the delegated steempower will be undelegated by steemit I guess the reason why the steemit account is always manually verified is because steemit do not want spammers to start creating multiple steemit accounts just to benefit from the free fifteen steempower given to new accounts
