What sets Dapps apart from normal social media sites is that you actually have a means of earning so if you ask me taking that away from them would essentially make it a normal social media site that requires blockchain technology to function.</p><p>There's absolutely no need for such a thing because why would anyone go through the trouble of building a social media site on top of a blockchain if the blockchain is inevitably not going to be used at all.</p><p>You'd be better off creating a simple social media site without it having anything to do with a blockchain. Building it on top of a blockchain would be like putting a Chevrolet Camaro engine in a Toyota Camry and not going above 60mph.
