The beauty of delegated proof of stake consensus protocol is that you can choose your representative in this system by delegating which is based on stake. So it helps for the democratic process of choosing validators. In DPoS anyone who holds native token can vote for validators. The top validators (for example top 20 validators in steem blockchain) are responsible for validating the transaction and also they get reward for doing so.
\n
The key roles of these validators are:-
\n
\n
They must ensure that the nodes are always up and running.
\n
Collection of transactions from the network and putting them into blocks.
\n
Validating transaction and broadcasting blocks are the key responsibility.
\n
To keep the democracy and spirit of decentralization intact.
\n
\n

","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"pk35ptthw","appParentAuthor":"littymumma","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
