Damn the guy is just too real and his words play is the work of a f**cking genius. I love Eminem man, I learned how to control my anger and use it to build positive things about myself after I started listening to Eminem.

I used to have self expression problems as a kid. I was shy, easily bullied and had low self esteem at some point when I meet people I think don't like me. But you know, just a few tracks from Eminen including 24 to life, Beautiful, Guts over fear.

First thing you should know is that it isn't right in my opinion to try to over protect your kids. So I'll like my kids to play around fire while I am close so I can teach them how not to get burned. Else they will still play around fire when you are not around and you may not be there to show them how not to get burned.

One problem with Eminem music is that he always comes out with an angry tone, which truly is who he is but if you listen to his track, 'Sing For The Moment' - https://youtu.be/9xwSgFsKeoE

In the second and third verse of that song, he talks about kids who listened to his songs religiously, idolizing all he sings about not knowing that they are just music not real. So you have to teach your kids not to idolize any music or pick up the angry tone from Eminem - (it's his way of getting attention to his music).

Guide your kids from the sadist, melancholic and sometimes misogynic expressions in some of Eminem's track (most tracks about his mum and wife Kim), in this way you are teaching your kid to play with fire without getting burned.

One last thing is that Eminem curses a lot in his songs, so when your child is not old enough to listen to such words, watch out for the tracks he listens to. YouTube do provide some censored tracks where cursing words have been removed from those tracks.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f3c6b6jwq","appParentAuthor":"cairi","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
