I would try if the country was really in a dire situation and the government is so corrupt that there isn't proper systems that are working in the country. I would still stay first for some time and wait for an opportunity. I guess, I would try to find work in another country that have better systems in place.
\n
Luckily my country has changed government which has been in the running for the last 60 years and have been super corrupt and at the moment this year, the government has changed hands and has now become a cleaner country. Corrupt officials now are being sentences and are currently waiting for trial and may have to go to jail for 20 years. Aroun 20 billion USD fell into corrupt officials last year. It is amazing how greedy people in power can be. Now the country has a better name instead of just being another corrupt country and really bad scandals going on for many years.
\n
Many in my country have either migrated to Australia, Canada and some even to Singapore and the UK. Well, I think at the moment this mass migration has somehow slowed down with no more corruption news these days being headlined. I am really happy of what my country's leader has currently done. If the leadership who used to run the country was still running the country, I would have planned to leave the country in the future.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f37jup4cq","appParentAuthor":"ohmygoodness","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
