There are those who become super rich and some would be just rich enough to not worry about their future. Definitely too there would be those who are poor.
\n
In some countries, there aren't many opportunities and the problem with that is those talented in those country can't really excel in the different aspects which they would like to be. There isn't the opportunity to work and earn enough to invest and create wealth. For example, if someone was born in countries like Brunei which has a higher GDP as compared to many other countries. It is tax free, the oil is cheap and everyone gets to own a car easily with low interest payments and then government housing is available with low payments, just working and earn $ 500 bucks would be worth more than in many other countries.
\n
There are some countries where the population is huge (I don't name any as this is known and may sound offensive) and so there is huge competition for jobs and many work long hours with low pay. The pay is low and yet the housing is expensive and everything around them is quite expensive. The person ends up not owning a house or any car and just being in the rat race for the rest of their lives. There are many people living like this. Then it is the day when they are to retire and they can't really retire properly.
\n
In rich countries, there are lots of opportunities yet high competition. It is the case for countries like Singapore, there are lot of graduates who end up working for a normal job where the competition is really high and only those who are competent can land high paying jobs. Everything is expensive but overall, because of the high per capita GDP per person, then everyone earns a high salary but it is easy to become obsolete as the competition is really really high.
\n
Then there are those who I know who love to spend on things that they end up buying on impulse. What happens is that when they receive their salary, they usually buy expensive things. They buy new iphones, get the latest mouse and many more. They don't really like to invest their money or keep any money for investments. I guess, there are those who don't really read many books as they just live a comfortable life and just live pay check to pay check.
\n
Getting wealthy is a choice and many choose to take the easy way out and enjoy a more relaxful life. It is often really difficult to save and invest and the person would rather buy things on impulse.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f344wf2yw","appParentAuthor":"adenijiadeshina","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
