There is a quota for daily consumption of the carb intake and sugar intake no matter which form it would convert to. For men it would be around 9tablespoons a day and for female around 6.

Having more than this would post risk to the body especially nowadays our life becomes inactive and we do less. We no longer move around much like our ancestors in the past and sit there watching TV and playing with out computers.

Sucrose which is a simple sugar is very rapidly absorbed into our blood stream which can cause chaos to our hormone insulin. If we tend to take too much sucrose, corn syrup sugar which is used as sweeteners in many drinks and food, it would be absorbed in our blood rapidly and the insulins can't really take in that much of it into our cells for use as energy and some day our body would have insulin resistance where the insulin won't be responsive to sugars taken into our body cell.. Then there is concern for diabetes, heart diseases and many more... Sugar, sucrose and others if taken in moderate amounts won't harm the body much but if taken by the tablespoons it can cause massive damage to our body.
","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"f35r77zzw","appParentAuthor":"alaisguineasis","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
