Some honey as what I have known is that uses a lot of commercial sugars as sweeteners. It's pretty hard to not have sugar in our life initially, but it's going to be a choice that you won't live to regret. Sugar basically disrupts our hormones especially how insulin work. When insulin levels in the body is disrupted, the body cannot really utilize glucose properly and in some ways, the body's sensitivity towards insulin is reduced and glucose will remain at high levels in the blood which can cause a rise in the glucose level in the blood.
\n
There are some replacement like Stevia but it taste a bit different in some ways as compared to sugar and gets some getting used to. I bought a box of stevia in the past and tried to incorporate it into my coffee when i was preparing for coffee and it tasted really strange in some ways. I guess the best way is to reduce any sugar intake into the blood.
\n
There are few sugar replacement you can have and try out which are :
\n
1. Stevia 2. Splenda 3. Saccharin 4. Asparatame (Used also in many sodas and taste close to sugars )
\n
I think its good to try out without sugar and see if you can get through it for a month. Once you can do that, it would be relatively easy to skip off sugars more easily. Reduce sugar intake is good for the body and would increase our life span.
\n

","appDepth":2,"appParentPermlink":"fkybs6vaw","appParentAuthor":"foodology","musingAppId":"aU2p3C3a8N","musingAppVersion":"1.1","musingPostType":"answer"}" |
